Tour Description

35km from Suzhou City, there is a less visited yet beautiful town named Jinxi. Jinxi has a history of over a thousand years. It's a classical water town in the Southern China style with 16 lakes of different sizes and 238 river ways. The old town has been well preserved and many buildings still remain from the Ming (1836-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties. A walk in the old town is a walk into the past. A boat cruise gives you a panorama of the town.
